This treatment consists of your stylist applying a semi-permanent conditioning treatment in order to coat your hair strands. It is essentially adding keratin to each strand and sealing the follicle which in turn will create the appearance of smooth, shiny and full hair! How is it different to Keratin straightening?
Often compared to Hair Botox as they both work to achieve smooth, manageable hair. The main difference is the use of harsh chemicals such as formaldehyde in Brazilian straightening, which can cause skin irritation and ironically damage your hair further in the long term. Hair botox deeply conditions and repairs your hair and as an added bonus, does not take 3 days to seal in!
Can I still colour my hair?
It is safe for those with already coloured hair to undergo this treatment, however, we recommend waiting a few weeks after your treatment for a colour touch up to ensure you do not disrupt the longevity of this treatment.
